Do you know it takes 3 months for a woman's eggs to mature and almost 4 months for sperm to generate?
If you are wanting to conceive, this means that present sperm have been exposed to all the toxins the male has been exposed to over the past 4 months. Fertilisation with sperm and / or eggs that have had toxic exposure increases the risk of pregnancy loss and decreases the chances of having a healthy baby.
Also consider:
*2 cups of coffee or one can of coke a day can decrease fertility by 50%.
*Tap water contains chlorinated by-products which reduce menstrual cycle length.
*Neural tube and birth defects (such as Spina bifida) increase by 30-40% in children of overweight women and their children are more likely to suffer obesity, cardiovascular disease and diabetes as an adult.
Keeping this in mind, as well as the fact that one in six couples having difficulty in conceiving, commencing a Pre-conception Care Program at least 4 months prior to conception makes very good sense.
If you or anyone you know, is thinking of conceiving, Glow Health & Weight Loss will be able to outline a diet and nutritional program for you.
